Norman Foster: Sarasota

Jack Fisher and long-time collaborator Ryan Lester co-directed and shot this short film about Lord Norman Foster and his relationship with the Sarasota School of Architecture. The school, also called Sarasota Modern, was a style of mid-century modern architecture on Florida's Gulf Coast from 1941 to 1966. Its architects adapted international modernism, with its clean lines and minimal ornament, to a hot, humid climate. They designed for breezes, shade, local materials and the landscape instead of leaning on air conditioning, an early form of climate adaptation. Jack and Ryan spent three days with Foster in Sarasota, visiting mid-century houses in the school's tradition. In the film, Foster describes "buildings that today would be called sustainable or green, which at that time had yet to be invented as a label." Paul Rudolph, a founder of the movement, taught Foster at Yale.

Tesla: Just Hold On

A documentary following snowboarder Jamie Barrow and Top Gear's 'The Stig' as they attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the fastest speed on a snowboard. For the record attempt, Jack was filming from a light aircraft in -4°C, barely able to feel his fingers in the freezing air. With a Norwegian-speaking pilot and no shared language, they relied on taps to communicate mid-flight. The cockpit was so cramped we had to rig a small, mirrorless camera in order to capture the moment.

JP Morgan Chase: Vanderbilt Passage

Elevate

In January 2026, Elevate asked Jack Fisher to direct a short film at JPMorganChase's new global headquarters, 270 Park Avenue in Manhattan, designed by Foster + Partners. Elevate had built a permanent generative artwork, the Vanderbilt Passage, in a 50-foot corridor through The Exchange, one of the busiest parts of the building, where 10,000 employees eat and meet every day. LiDAR sensors track people as they walk through, and the visuals and sound change with their movement. The imagery draws on more than 200 digitised items from JPMorganChase's archives. The building is designed for efficiency, and the corridor gives people a place to slow down. Jack and the Odd Duck team made a series of films documenting the artwork. Elevate and JPMorganChase asked for a modern feel, with the MoMA film aesthetic as the main reference.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries commissioned us to produce a 3D-animated promotional video to show the design features and key technical elements of their new ZT Series air conditioning units. Entered into the prestigious Red Dot Design awards, the video was required to show off the modern all-in-one appearance of the design.

Linkin Park: Heavy Is The Crown

Alive Coverage, for Live Nation

Alive Coverage commissioned Odd Duck in September 2024 to film Linkin Park playing their new single, 'Heavy Is The Crown', at London's O2 Arena. We shot on the single's release day, during the band's 'From Zero' world tour, and the video reached 21 million views in its first year. Directed by Jack Fisher.

Alive Coverage

Alive Coverage hired Odd Duck to travel to New Jersey and help make this social media video for the National Hockey League. Once a year, the NHL moves hockey out of the rinks and into stadiums that hold over 100,000 people. The film has over 1.8 million views.

Ultra Korea 2024

Final Kid

Ultra Korea is one of Asia's largest electronic music festivals, drawing crowds from across the region for three days of performances, staging and light shows. Jack has been shooting with Final Kid, the team behind the Ultra aftermovies, for over 11 years, and joined them again in 2024 to help capture this edition. The film is a stylised festival opener and a high-end recap of the weekend.
